Donna Raby, CMHC, is a compassionate, empathetic, and caring mental health therapist with over 15 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. Her creativity and skill in therapy are paired with a deep respect for the beliefs and practices of others, allowing her to connect with clients from all walks of life.
Donna has a long history of working in both outpatient and school-based settings. She has provided mental health therapy for children and youth at Davis Behavioral Health since 2013, focusing on children at risk, particularly in Title-One schools. Donna has worked independently in these school settings, collaborating with administrators, teachers, and social workers to provide mental health support. This work, especially with children struggling to fit in, is close to her heart. Her experience working with youth in various capacities, including the Visions Program and Youth In Transition, has shaped her ability to empower clients and help them navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
Donna’s approach to therapy is eclectic and client-centered, incorporating EMDR, TF-CBT, and expressive art therapy. She helps clients build coping skills, increase self-esteem, and empower themselves to make lasting changes. Whether working with children struggling with anxiety and ADHD or adults facing personal and relationship challenges, Donna’s goal is always to foster an environment where clients can thrive.
Outside of work, Donna enjoys spending time with her family and tending to her garden, where she finds peace and inspiration. Her dedication to her clients is matched by her commitment to continuous growth and excellence in her practice, always striving to provide the highest level of care.
